Week 3:
For week 3 we did our probability by using blocks we had to draw out different coloured blocks 10 times and calculate the Frequency & the Relative Frequency. Here is proof of my learning.

\

Then Miss Lauchlan showed us a game called STINKY, it is a game that relates to horses. We have around in every letter and she rolls a dice if it lands on 1 we get bankrupt and all our money for that letter is gone.

Week 4:
This week we were told about a Tree diagram, it is easy to fill in and this is an example of one.

The next thing we did was play heads and tails with coins from around the world, it is kind of similar to the chart I did in week 3.'

Week 5:
The next week we did coin flipping again but 50 times, my group had to do it 2x because we lost count. this is the amount we got.

Another activity we did was shoot the ball in the basketball hoop 5 times this is the amount I got and had to times it by.

Week 6:
How many baskets did you make? 2
What is the relative frequency? ⅖
How many do you predict you would have made if you had of taken 10 shots? 4/10
How many baskets do you predict you would have made if you had of taken 100 shots? 40/100

Next week you will have $10 to bet on your chance of taking a single successful shot. The amount I am willing to pay is based on your past statistics.

Week 7:
This week we learnt about Gambling and how much money you can gain or lose, you start to get addicted to gambling once you have started it. we had 1 shot at the hoop but gave in $ 2.00 out of 10 but I missed my shot this is what I have.
Did you make or lose money - Timu & I both lost Money
Explain why - We bet a small amount but our shot didn’t go as well as it expected.
What could you have done/how could you have bet to improve this outcome - bet a small amount or bet nothing?
Which person made the most money? Why?  - The Casino/Tab
Create an info graphic showing how gambling works - LINK
