Leitupo & I made a DLO about Ash Wednesday, we showed what we gave up & what we want to improve on, We made a word art with our work too.

SPX OPENING

We have just had our school opening recently, here are some photos with a little explanation of what that moment was. I was really excited but nervous at the same time, It went really well infact we were given donuts which were delicious from another school & ice blocks from Skids, this is a memory I will cherish for a long time.

We haven't had the chance to explore more about the Treaty of Waitangi, so we came up with at least 10 or more words to do with Waitangi. We used wordle to help us with our art, here is the LINK

It is almost our school opening & we want our learning space to look impressive, so we wanted to let the parent know who is in our space. The meaning of our name and a art of it was what we did, I am proud of my work and also  proud of my name.

Hello & welcome to my blog for 2020!!!!

I am excited for another learning year, I can’t wait to share my learning with you & with my family.
I am most excited to work in the new building we have. I want to show that I have
improved in my learning and have done a lot of work to show you.

WHAT AM I EXCITED FOR IN 2020

I am excited about the school year of 2020, it is the start of new learning ideas,
new people to collaborate with & a new beginning. I want things to be different
this year since I have taken the role of a leader, to set examples & do what is
right. I take extra classes so that I can understand things when I am solving a problem
at school. I am excited for 2020’s school year, I am ready to learn instead of having a
replica of 2019. I will work even harder & pay full attention to the teacher, I will even bring
homework every day after school. By the middle & end of this year, my grades will get better
and improve for college. I want to make a big improvement because last year we had a struggle.

ACTS OF KINDNESS

It has begun for the new year of 2020 & our theme for 2020 is Kindness, we need to use actions with kindness. I have written about a time I have been kind in the holidays.



In the holidays My father & I are just driving back home from another busy day of fishing, First I realised that we were going faster than the other cars. I looked back at the speed my father was going over the number 60, I had reminded him to slow down before he gets a fine. A few minutes later we are close to a traffic light & it becomes red I tell him to stop for the red light & just in time, I told about getting 2 fines then he says sorry & we drive home.
